Yesterday

Dress - Xhiliration
Shoes - Mossimo
Necklace - Freedom Firm

This outfit was actually from yesterday, but I had no time to actually post it since my day was pretty crazy; It was one of those days, I guess.

I got this dress from my sister in-law for my birthday last month, and I'm loving it. It's perfect for this horrible weather and the color is gorgeous so it's a win-win, right?

Anyway, hoping y'all are having a fabulous Monday!

Pastels, Please.

Top - Papaya
Skirt - Mossimo
Wedges - Seychelles
Bag - ShoeDazzle

If you couldn't tell, I love pastel colors. I just think pastels are gorgeous and work for so many skin types, and who doesn't love that?? Besides, mint green is still having it's major moment (for the past, what? two years?).

And of course, pastels aren't just for Spring. I love wearing them all year round even though some people say they only work for 3 months out of the year (as if!).

What I want to know, though, is what is your favorite pastel color? Tell me in the comments below!

As always, thank you for checking out my blog and be sure to follow for more!

Pale in All Filters

Shirt - Old Navy
Pants - Mossimo
Flats - TOMS
Bag - Merona
Necklace - made by my super talented sister at yourmomdesigns

Okay. I know, I know. I'm as pale as the white shirt I'm wearing. I need to get out  in the sun so that people don't think I'm cast in the next Stephanie Meyer inspired movie.

Anyway, today has been looong. I woke up super early to open up the coffee shop at my church and needed a simple outfit I could work in. Capri pants have become one of my favorite wardrobe staples for spring/summer, so of course I chose these because they're perfect when you're looking for a quick and effortless outfit that still looks put together.

What's your favorite wardrobe staple for spring/summer? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks so much for checking out my blog! I hope y'all have a fabulous week.

Floral Mix

Top - H&M
Skirt - Mossimo
Shoes - Aldo
Necklaces - Forever21
Bracelet - Fossil

Here's a tip for when you're shopping at Target (which, if you're anything like me, is 1-2 times a week): try and find online returns because they mark those items down like crazy. I got this new skirt, that is super comfy, for $4.56 and I'm the kind of person whose day can be turned completely around by tiny stuff like that, so next time you're there be on the look out.

Anyway, I hope y'all are having a fabulous day and will have an even more fabulous week!

P.S. Apparently I like holding my hand to my ear in pictures. Did y'all notice?

Shades of Red and Black

Skirt - Mossimo
Blouse - Old Navy
Blazer - Mossimo
Shoes - Anne Klein
Bag - Longchamp Le Pliage
Watch - Fossil

I am so done with this Winter thing . . . I'm thinking I need to move somewhere where it is warm year-round, and preferably where there is a beach in close proximity to my house. But no, I still have about a month left of this crazy cold then warm weather because the weather where I live has irrational mood swings. I am so happy about this day, though, because it has been raining like crazy for the past few days and today it is gorgeous.

Anyway, I'm loving this outfit because it's perfect for ridiculous weather like this, and I love wearing red and black together because red is such a great pop of color against dark colors. I tend to wear a ton of black during Winter, so switching it up whenever I can is needed.

Mixing Fall Up

O

Dress - H&M
Denim Jacket - Forever21
Shoes - Mossimo (Get them here)

Fall is officially here and one of my favorite trends is mixing patterns, and of course some of my favorite patterns are polka dots (as Jess in New Girl says, "I rock a lot of polka dots") and leopard print so it's almost instinctive to pair them together. . .  of course there are times when mixing patterns can get out of control and look like a hot mess, but if you don't overdo it it can look so fabulous.

What are some of your favorite trends for Fall? Tell me in the comments below!

And P.S. If you haven't already, check out Sephora.com for the Urban Decay eyeshadow sale ($6 each!). I know a lot of the colors have gone extremely fast so get there asap if you wanna pick some up.

Print on Print

Dress - Delia's
Shoes - Mossimo
Bag - Mulberry for Target

I love print on print, it's pretty unique and with the same print in different colors (like neutral and a brighter color) it's easy to wear, and I'm loving the trend for Spring and Summer.

And since today is mothers day (happy moms day, btw!) my church was handing out roses to all the women. . . so of course I took advantage and used it in a couple of my pictures :)

Once again, another end to the week. I want to know where all this time is going. It seems like it was just Friday and I had all this time to finish my homework. Oh well, I'm about to finish it right after I post this...

I've been waiting to wear this dress ever since I bought it last year. I was just waiting for a good time to pull it out. I really love it, it's so girly and has such a romantic look to it. Anyway, I hope everyone has had a fantastic week, and I hope this week is a thousand times better. Happy Sunday!
