Is it Spring yet?

Top - Jason Wu for Target (Get it here)
Cardigan - The Limited
Jeans - Hydrolic
Boots - Xappeal
Bag - Loungefly (I don't think you can get this bag on the website anymore, but you can still find more Hello Kitty awesomeness)

Seriously wishing that Spring would hurry up and get here, I'm desperately in the need for pastels, bright colors, and more florals (like this Jason Wu top. Love).

Also, have any of you checked out Refinery29? It's an awesome website for fashion news and trends from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. Go check it out here if you get the chance this weekend!

Out Around Town

Top - Charlotte Russe
Cardigan - H&M
Jeans - Cello
Shoes - TOMS Get them here

My sister was in town from Seattle, which of course meant that we went shopping. I always love walking around and going into music stores, thrift shops, and such. It's so much fun exploring new places.

Hope y'all are having a great week so far! I'm so excited that the weekend starts tomorrow... I'm buried under homework and I need time to actually get to it all!

Brighten The Day

Pants - Mossimo Supply Co.
Button-Down - Lauren by Ralph Lauren
Jacket - Jack BB Dakota
Heels - Steve Madden
Watch - Fossil
Charm Bracelet & Typewriter Charm - Fossil (Get the charm here & the bracelet here)

It has been so rainy and just all around dreary today, so of course I felt like brightening it up a bit by wearing bright purple (favorite color currently). I love the colored jeans/pants trend... meaning that I probably won't stop at just these. Haha

Once again, another end to the week. I want to know where all this time is going. It seems like it was just Friday and I had all this time to finish my homework. Oh well, I'm about to finish it right after I post this...

I've been waiting to wear this dress ever since I bought it last year. I was just waiting for a good time to pull it out. I really love it, it's so girly and has such a romantic look to it. Anyway, I hope everyone has had a fantastic week, and I hope this week is a thousand times better. Happy Sunday!

Friday's Outfit Du Jour

Top - Xhiliration
Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Hudson
Flats  - Melrose Ave.

This has been such a long, but amazing week. My sister had her baby this past Sunday (He is  one of the cutest babies I have ever met), two of my other sisters came down, school has been crazy; I had a French test (Français est très difficile), and multiple other assignments due. Life has just been generally hectic lately.

My sister Kristin also helped me re-design my blog this week, so huge thanks to her for helping me with my background, header, blog button, and my new Facebook like page, which you can like here!

Today was such a good day. My sister is here from Texas, so we went to Target to finally check out the Jason Wu collection (only picked up one thing) and did some more shopping, then I got home to find my new March (Spring edition!) InStyle magazine... it doesn't take too much to make me happy, even after a full day of classes.

Valentines Day Look

I figured since it's almost Valentines day again (how did that happen?) that I would do a couple of super easy makeup looks that you could use for Valentines.

Since I've seen everyone and their mother do pink or red eye looks, and since I don't typically like wearing pink or red on my eyes, I figured I would do a more neutral look... with gold and browns. I might do a look where I incorporate pink or red into the look, so that it doesn't look like I'm an eleven year old playing with my older sisters makeup. We'll see, but in the mean time, here's today's look:

Face -
- Murad's Clean Scene Down for Defense Moisturizer
- Maybelline's Dream Nude Airfoam in 150 Classic Ivory (Do not buy this... it's awful. It's a total gimmick)
- Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer in Light
- Maybelline's Super Stay 24 Concealer in Ivory (under-eyes)
- Tarte's Provocateur Pressed Mineral Powder in Light 04
- Benefit's Hoola Bronzer
- Milani's Baked Blush in Rose D'Oro

Eyes -
- Urban Decay's Primer Potion in Original
- NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencil in French Fries (outer corner blended up into the crease)
- Urban Decay's Naked Palette: Virgin (brow & inner corner), Half Baked (lid), Hustle (outer crease and along lower lash line)
- MAC's Espresso (outer corner up into the crease)
- NYC's Liquid Eyeliner in Black (Cat-eye)
- NYX Eyeliner pencil in White (water-line)
- Tarte's Gifted Smart Mascara in Black

Lips -
- NYX Round lipstick in Narcissus
- MAC's Lipglass in Viva Glam Gaga (original)

There it is! Hope y'all liked this tutorial. Please let me know in the comments below what kinds of tutorial's you would like me to do and if you liked this one!
