Shirt - Forever21
Shorts - cut-offs of Arizona jeans
Shoes - Report
scarf - H&M (I cut it to make it in to a head scarf)

This was from a couple of day ago, but I didn't have a chance to post it until today. I was totally bored with my hair that day, so I decided to cut a scarf that I bought forever ago and had yet to actually use and made it into a head scarf which I completely love.

Hope y'all are having a fantastic week so far! I'm now off to finish a rough draft of a French essay that I should have finished by now :)

Make Your Own Tinted Moisturizer

This is so easy to do, and who doesn't love a fast and easy method to speeding up their morning routine? I read somewhere about doing this and was interested, so one day when I was running low on foundation I decided to give it a try.

I think this will be great in the Summer time when it's hot out and you don't want to wear a super heavy  foundation. All you need is your favorite moisturizer and concealer and voila! You have an instant tinted moisturizer.

I'm using:

1. Hard Candy's Glamoflage Double Duty Concealer  (Get it Here for $6.00)
2. Murad's Clean Scene Down for Defense SPF 15 Moisturizer (Get it Here for $24.00)

First: Take a pea-sized amount of each product on your fingers (or hand, doesn't matter)

Second: Mix the concealer and moisturizer together.

Third: Apply to face and neck and blend out.

And that's it! Super simply and easy to do :)

Print on Print

Dress - Delia's
Shoes - Mossimo
Bag - Mulberry for Target

I love print on print, it's pretty unique and with the same print in different colors (like neutral and a brighter color) it's easy to wear, and I'm loving the trend for Spring and Summer.

And since today is mothers day (happy moms day, btw!) my church was handing out roses to all the women. . . so of course I took advantage and used it in a couple of my pictures :)

How to NOT Look Like a Vampire This Summer

I don't know about y'all, but I have super sensitive and sun-burn prone skin... and on top of that I'm already pretty pale, so while occasionally I'll be able to achieve some kind of a tan in the Summer usually it's not that drastic. This tutorial is going to show you how to create a bit of "sunkissed" color on your face so that you won't have to worry about being Edward Cullen pale in the Summer (or even all year round).

1. You want to start off having already applied concealer and foundation, then add two small dabs of a self tanner below your cheekbones. I use Hard Candy's Glow all the way liquid bronzer.

2. After the bronzer is blended in smoothly, take a setting powder and buff that into your skin.

3. Then take a bronzing powder (Hoola Bronzer by Benefit is my favorite) and apply that with an angled brush to the apples of your cheeks

4. Next add some brightness to your cheeks by using a bright pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. I like to use Pink Swoon by MAC (a perfect dupe for Pink Swoon is Pink Passion by E.L.F.).

On the left: MAC's Pink Swoon & on the Right: E.L.F's Pink Passion

5. And finally, this next step is just a fun way to make your eyes pop and give you more of a "bronze-y" glow. Take a gold or orange-y gold liner (the one I'm using is Gilded by Benefit, and I'm pretty sure it was discontinued but there are plenty of great gold liners out there) and apply it to your waterline.

And now you have gone from being super pale:

To having a little bit of a bronze-y glow in a matter on minutes:

Hope you liked this tutorial, it is super easy and take only about 3-5 minutes to do :)

Product List:

Hoola Bronzer by Benefit - Sephora
Pink Swoon blush by MAC - MAC
Pink Passion blush by E.L.F. - E.L.F. or Target

Sunday Lace

Skirt - Old Navy
Top - Got it from TJ Maxx (brand is called Paper Crane)
Boots - Xappeal

It feels so incredibly good to be done with this semester. I took my last final yesterday and it's still sinking in, of course, I have to go back in a couple of weeks for Summer classes, but I can now officially say that I'm done with Freshman year. That seems super crazy to me, it seems like yesterday I was just starting college and now I'm already a year in. So now I'm planning a bunch more blog posts which makes me pretty excited because I love sharing new stuff and helpful tips with y'all.

And speaking of new stuff. . . that last picture? That's the new O.P.I. color from the Spiderman collection called 'Into the Night.' I love, love, love this color, it's the perfect "Spider man blue," and I picked it up at Ulta for $8.50. If you're going to get any color from that collection definitely pick this one up.
