Yesterday I had to go to an advising session at the college I am transferring to and decided I wanted to wear something that looked professional but casual at the same time (since it's not like it was an interview or anything), and this is what I came up with. I love pairing mint and white together, it just seems like one of the the most gorgeous color combinations.
Piece of advice, though, if you're planning on meeting with an adviser or someone else on a campus you don't know like the back of your hand and are directionally-impaired like I am. . . leave super early and have a good idea of where you need to be (meaning look at a map a thousand times) and don't be too proud to ask for help. Also, if you haven't yet, download google maps to your smart phone, if you have one, and keep track of where you're going because let's face it, without it I would not have found the building I needed to be at on time and Idislike hate being late.
