Here's a tip for when you're shopping at Target (which, if you're anything like me, is 1-2 times a week): try and find online returns because they mark those items down like crazy. I got this new skirt, that is super comfy, for $4.56 and I'm the kind of person whose day can be turned completely around by tiny stuff like that, so next time you're there be on the look out.

Yesterday I had to go to an advising session at the college I am transferring to and decided I wanted to wear something that looked professional but casual at the same time (since it's not like it was an interview or anything), and this is what I came up with. I love pairing mint and white together, it just seems like one of the the most gorgeous color combinations.

Piece of advice, though, if you're planning on meeting with an adviser or someone else on a campus you don't know like the back of your hand and are directionally-impaired like I am. . . leave super early and have a good idea of where you need to be (meaning look at a map a thousand times) and don't be too proud to ask for help. Also, if you haven't yet, download google maps to your smart phone, if you have one, and keep track of where you're going because let's face it, without it I would not have found the building I needed to be at on time and I ~~dislike~~ hate being late.

Can we just take a minute to talk about how much I love this skirt? It's so comfortable and versatile, it's ridiculous. I need to go back to Target (psh. Where else?) and get like a thousand more.

I love pairing skirts like this with brightly colored tops or accessories to really make it stand out. How do you like styling versatile skirts like this? Leave me a comment below!

Thank God for Spring inspired floral patterns and bright colors; I am so in love with them both.

As you can tell from the pictures, though, I am still super-duper ridiculously vampire-esque. I need to hit up the beach ASAP, but until I can I'll just continue wearing bright colors and daydreaming about clear skies and sand beneath my feet.
