Flower Girl Details

Top - TJ MAXX (brand is Paper Crane)
Skirt - Nordstrom BP (brand is Frenchi)
Ballet Flats - TOMS (these are from last year's line, but you can find some similar here)
Headband - Forever21 (something similar here)

I don't know about you, but I love most anything with flowers on it. I think it just makes me happy, so I love wearing floral print because it instantly brightens up my mood.

I love pairing floral print with different patterns or textures, and lace happened to work perfectly today. The headband is nice too because, while it does have flowers on it as well, I don't feel as though it's over doing it, and flower headbands have been so on trend lately.

I know as Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly in "The Devil Wears Prada" would say, in her ever so sarcastic voice, "florals for Spring? Groundbreaking," but I think florals actually can be groundbreaking (and not just for Spring... obviously), especially if the pattern is unique. Florals also work for most anyone, which is hard to say about some patterns like leopard, snake, zebra, stripes, so on & so on...

What do you think: Are you a fan of floral print as well? What do you like pairing it with? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks, as always, for checking out my blog! Make sure to follow if you liked this post!

Cheers

Yesterday

Dress - Xhiliration
Shoes - Mossimo
Necklace - Freedom Firm

This outfit was actually from yesterday, but I had no time to actually post it since my day was pretty crazy; It was one of those days, I guess.

I got this dress from my sister in-law for my birthday last month, and I'm loving it. It's perfect for this horrible weather and the color is gorgeous so it's a win-win, right?

Anyway, hoping y'all are having a fabulous Monday!

Summer Days, Long Skirts, Don't Care

Top - Old Navy
Maxi Skirt - Old Navy (last Summer)
Sandals - Sam Edelman (Buy them Here)
Necklace - vintage
Bracelets - got them from a jewelry swap, so I'm not sure

I love maxi skirts because I feel like they make me look taller, and who doesn't love that? They're also incredibly nice to wear in the summer because of their versatility; you can dress them up or down and they still look fabulous.

What about you, do you love maxi skirts? And the really important question, where do you like to buy them?

Let me know in the comments, s'il vous plait!

60s Barbie

Dress - H&M
Shoes - BCBGeneration
Sunglasses - Nordstrom BP
Earrings - Freedom Firm
Watch - Fossil

I pretty much have been saying this every week, but it has been ridiculously hot today and I'm really contemplating packing my bags and moving to California so that I can escape the humidity (note: hair up because of ridiculous weather-induced frizzyness).

And I feel kinda silly for wearing 3 quarter inch sleeves today, but really... the dress was cute and I was told this morning I look like a 60s Barbie, so I think it was worth it. Right?

P.S. It has been one of those weeks where I had so many ideas for blog posts and crafts, but I haven't had much time between work and my online college classes, so I'm glad I least get to post this. I do have some pretty cool ideas that I am going to try and get to this next week, though, so be on the look out!

Seeing Spots

Dress - Old Navy
Flats - Kate Spade
Bracelet - Betsey Johnson
Glasses - Warby Parker

It was one of those mornings where nothing looks good and it takes you forever to find something that you don't hate (jeez, why is that?). I feel like that's one of the really bad things about summer; sometimes you just have no idea what will look good when it's hot outside (and when you don't have air conditioning in your ancient Jeep).

Anyways, hope y'all liked this post! Be sure to follow this blog for more outfit posts and upcoming tutorials & reviews!

Hot Heat

Top - H&M
Shorts - Banana Republic
Shoes - Xappeal
Bag - Expressions NYC (buy it here)
Sunglasses - Nordstrom BP (buy them here)
Bracelet - Betsey Johnson
Ring - Forever21

I love summer weather except for the fact that my car basically has no air conditioning, so whenever I know I will be going anywhere I have to make sure I'm wearing clothes that won't make me die of heat. That's why this outfit is perfect for this type of weather; cotton shorts with a thin tank top would be perfect even if I did have working air conditioning... but since I don't it's especially necessary.

What's your favorite thing to wear when it's hot out? Comment below!
